Chelwood Equestrian is a new privately funded training facility built to Olympic criteria. It is designed to the highest standards providing a modern environment for horse and rider. We provide clinics, with top national and international trainers, and offer comfortable onsite accommodation to suit owners, riders, trainers, and support staff. The 165 acre centre is situated on the edge of the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex between the villages of Nutley and Chelwood Gate. Features include a spacious indoor school, 3 Olympic size arenas, and a 30 acre cross country course, designed and built by the Willis Brothers. In addition, the centre offers secure off road hacking, as well as access to the 6,000 acre forest. A half mile all weather gallop is planned for completion in the near future.
